Happy Single-digits-(+/-)-Cold-in-WY Holiday. Hope you are Thankful as well as Grateful (& have reasons to be so). Let the blessings flow as the dressing goes and the bellies grow.
Here's a low res pic of Casper Mtn goin' down the road an hour ago.

I think that one tipped 32 lbs on an old rusty hand scale and catching fish from shore is way too challenging for me!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hey Wharf & Jg--I think you two are each responsible for Thanksgiving threads I linked above; always good to know you two are out there somewhere, doing what's right (whatever that may be) for the Holidays...

Back atcha PM. And the same to the rest of you guys and gals as well.

And like I do every year, I'll ask those of you so inclined to spare a thought and hoist a glass of your favorite beverage for all of our service men and women around the globe, away from their families, serving so that we can enjoy our time with our loved ones.

"Bring them all home safely"

And with that, I believe that cues Monte's seasonal post urging the end of this ridiculous war and getting our troops back home where they belong.

Peace, prosperity, good health, good friends, good music to you all.

Even our esteemed assemblage of across-the-ponders who don't know what they are missing by not gorging on turkey, oyster stuffing, dressing, gravy, potatoes, turkey, green beans, corn casserole, turkey, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, turkey, pumpkin pie, Mrs. Mando's cherry cheesecake, and turkey.

Yup - interesting indeed. It would be funny if it wasn't true.

This hit ChrisMartenson.com Monday a week ago and went from ~18,000 to over a million views in 8 days.

But as long as Americans can be wrapped up in really important things like Dancing With The Latest Hollywood Celebrity Rehab Victim we have nothing to worry about.

Unfortunately for us all "The Bernank" is quite clueless on this one.

I recall being in the hotel bar after the '99 ACC Tourney Championship win with Wojo, Bilas, and others watching UConn win the Big East and everyone in that room KNEW UConn posed a huge challenge if we met in the tourney.

I got that same feeling watching the final minutes of the UConn-MSU game... They are young but damn good and while it's easy to poke fun at Calhoun, no one should really question his ability as a game coach (least of all, Coach K).

Ah, great one Ian! Red oaks, if I recall...

Can't match that, but here's our AZ Ash tree, with corgis for scale, to show we can have some color out here in the desert!

You're a lucky man, Ian; beautiful wife and kid--can't ask for anything more at a time like this.
